Dark Aged Patchouli: Our Dark Aged Patchouli Essential Oil is aged at least three years and delivers a luxurious, deep, mellow, and rich aroma. The longer that Patchouli Essential Oil ages, the aroma becomes much deeper and smoother. As patchouli ages, the sesquiterpene lactone levels raise in the oil. Sesquiterpene Lactones deliver oxygen molecules to the cells and can also erase or deprogram miswritten codes in the DNA.
