Wild chamomile is a new essential oil and it is mostly used in aromatherapy and perfumery. It comes from a small, daisy-like flower that grows around the Mediterranean. Our wild chamomile essential oil comes from Morocco.
In spite of the name, wild chamomile is an entirely different plant from roman and blue chamomile. Nonetheless, wild chamomile shares many of the therapeutic benefits of other chamomile essential oils. It is used in aromatherapy to soothe the mind and body, help alleviate depression and anxiety, and support skin, hair, and scalp health.
Specific Benefits of Wild Chamomile Essential Oil as follows:
Pain relief… Wild chamomile contains powerful anti-inflammatory compounds and it can be used to relieve pain and swelling due to inflammatory conditions or overworked muscles and joints.
Skin and hair care… Wild chamomile essential oil is protective and nourishing to the skin, and it can help remove redness, blemishes, and rashes. Because of its antimicrobial properties, it promotes scalp health and aids in the growth of strong, healthy hair.
