Organic Black Spruce Essential Oil is derived from black spruce, a medium sized evergreen tree, and a member of the spruce family. While it can be found throughout North America, it grows mainly in Canada in the forests known as taiga. Native Americans used black spruce for a number of medicinal purposes, including reducing inflammation, treating skin problems, and healing wounds. Today, Black Spruce Essential Oil is commonly added to cosmetic and household products thanks to its pleasant aroma. In aromatherapy, Black Spruce Essential Oil is useful for relieving stress and anxiety, reducing muscle aches, mental clarity and upliftment, and improving breathing problems.

Scotch Pine is native to Europe and Asia. As a Christmas tree, Scotch Pine is one of the most commonly used species in the United States. Pine Forests are known to be a health-giving environment due to the evaporation of the essential oil from the pine needles. Scotch Pine essential oil has been long used for its cleansing and clearing effects. Originally, Scotch Pine essential oil was studied and tested by Hippocrates for its respiratory healing effects. Native Americans used Scotch Pine Essential Oil to prevent scurvy. Scotch Pine possesses warming and antiseptic properties, ideal for inhalation or use in a diffuser to help ease bronchitis, coughs, colds, and flu.

Fir Needle Essential Oil is extracted from the fir needles of the Abies Siberica species. The needles of the tree are the most therapeutic part of the plant, as they contain the most active chemical components of the oil.  Fir needle is analgesic and anti-inflammatory, and may be used to help with muscular aches and pains. The oil is also anti-bacterial and antiviral, and may be used for coughs and congestion or diffused to deal with airborne viruses and bacteria. Fir Needle Essential Oil is often used in massage to relieve aches and pains and assist the circulatory system.

Fir Balsam

Balsam Fir is a wide-ranging North American fir and a popular Christmas tree. As a result, Balsam Fir Essential Oil carries a wonderful, familiar aroma redolent of home and holidays. Balsam Fir Essential Oil also has many medicinal properties and is becoming increasingly used in aromatherapy. Its powerful anti-inflammatory effects are well-known, and it is also known to help support the immune and respiratory systems thanks to its antimicrobial activity.

Cypress Essential Oil is extracted from the Cupressus Sempervirens tree, also known as Mediterranean Cypress. In ancient times, it was referred to as the "Tree which lives forever" due to its long life and ability to resist forest fires.  Cypress Essential Oil contains mostly the component alpha pinene, an organic compound of the terpene class. Alpha pinene contributes to cypress' anti-inflammatory action. Alpha pinene is known as a bronchodilator, which increases airflow to the lungs, helping with obstructive lung diseases.  Cypress Essential Oil also contains Cedrol, a constituent of Cedarwood Essential Oil. Cedrol is a sedative and improves sleep, giving Cypress its grounding and relaxing properties.
