Manuka Essential Oil is also known as New Zealand Tea Tree Essential Oil. It is a rare and exotic essential oil, wildcrafted from plants in the East Cape region of New Zealand's North Island.
This region is known to produce Manuka Essential Oil with the highest levels of naturally occurring antimicrobial properties. Manuka Essential Oil is known to be highly effective against bacteria and fungus.
Manuka Essential Oil is often used undiluted on the skin to help heal small wounds, or on the toes to help heal fungus damaged toenails. Throughout the aromatherapy community, Manuka Essential Oil has proven effective with Streptococcal and Staph infections.
The oil is also used for acne, ringworm, warts, and other skin ailments.
