Immunity & Infection... Neem oil has been known to boost the body's natural immunity and fight against infections. Increases
the formation of T-cells and helps the body fight against harmful bacteria. Unlike antibiotics, Neem Oil does not destroy the body's beneficial bacteria.
Insect Repellant... It may not smell pleasant, but Neem Oil is amazing for repelling mosquitoes, bed bugs, and all sort of insects! This oil also kills insects in all different stages of their growth by interrupting their reproductive cycles. For this reason, Neem Oil can also be used as a natural pest repellant in the garden. Try diluting Neem Oil in some water and spraying it on your plants.
Parasites... Neem is used in India for treating intestinal worms and head lice. Though we do not recommend ingesting the Neem Oil, it appears to be helpful for treating parasites in the skin and hair when applied topically. There is some speculation as to whether topical application of Neem Oil to the belly and abdonminal area may help with intestinal worms. In Ayurveda, the leaves of Neem are made into a paste, infusion, or formulation for this purpose.
Skin... This powerful oil can treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts, and ringworm. It also increases the skin's natural production of collagen and new capillaries, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and help to speed the healing of wounds.
Oral Health... Neem has been used in Ayurveda to treat gum disease, bad breath, tooth decay, and whiten teeth.
Hair & Scalp... Neem Oil is known to increase hair growth and promote scalp health. Applying Neem Oil to the scalp can treat dandruff and balance sebum production, while moisturizing the scalp and hair shaft. It also increases circulation to the scalp, so that the hair can grow long, strong, and lustrous. This moisturizing oil is full of nutrients that have been known to help frizz and split ends as well.
