The myriad of rosemary applications ranges from hair care and pain relief to cognitive enhancement and natural pest control. In this post, we delve into our favorite use of rosemary oil, revealing its potential to significantly enhance your health and enjoyment.
Rosemary Essential Oil has become one of the most popular essential oils used in aromatherapy, due to its wide array of health benefits. The oil assists with hair care, skincare, circulation of energy and blood, and muscle aches and pains. The verbenone variety of rosemary is a less intense fragrance than the Rosemary Cineol variety, which allows clarifying of ones emotions.
The name rosemary is derived from the Latin words ros marinus, which means, Rose of the Sea. Rosemary essential oil has been used since the 13th century, as it was a symbol of fidelity, wisdom, and love. Rosemary was also thought to bring protection from diseases, as it was an ingredient used in the well-known thieves oil. Bandits used thieves oil in the 15th century for protection from the plague, as they ransacked many plague-infected homes.
Rosemary is excellent for stimulating the conscious mind, opening the Heart Chakra, increasing vitality, and maintaining mental and physical health!

Love Infused ~ All of our Essential Oils are love infused by people who know their only function is to extend love.
All Rosemary essential oils contain tissue-regenerating ketones, however, the Verbenone variety contains lower camphor and higher ketones, making the oil more effective in that sense and much gentler for rejuvenating the skin and hair, as well as providing wonderful revitalizing effects on the emotions.
All rosemary oils contain tissue-regenerating ketones. However, Rosemary Verbenone essential oil is known for its high ketone content and for being the most gentle variety of rosemary essential oils. This is primarily due to one key component: verbenone.
Verbenone is a type of ketone that is particularly prominent in Rosemary Verbenone essential oil. Ketones are organic compounds that have a carbonyl group bonded to two hydrocarbon groups.
In the context of Rosemary Verbenone essential oil, these ketones, especially verbenone, contribute to the oil's unique properties. They make this variant of rosemary oil effective for respiratory issues, as they can help clear deep coughs and excess mucous.
The "verbenone" variety of rosemary may be gentler for rejuvenating the skin and hair, while still equally as potent as other varieties for revitalizing the emotional body.
Furthermore, verbenone and other ketones have been acknowledged for their potential to reduce muscular tension and pain. Their small molecular size makes them excellent solvents, which can be beneficial in aromatherapy applications.
