Surprised at its purity
Was surprised at its purity. I was impressed by that. One sniff from the bottle assured me of its authenticity. I’ll have enough to use for blends for a good long while!

Oud diffused into a room fills it with a deep, woody scent, and because the oil is potent, a little is plenty. It holds in the air long after the diffuser stops. The scent is the whole point, a warm wood you can sit inside.
Agarwood makes a quiet personal scent worn on the pulse points once it is mixed with a carrier oil, reading as warm wood rather than a sprayed fragrance. It sits close and deepens through the evening. People who find florals or sweet perfumes too loud tend to land here instead.
Oud anchors a blend and holds the lighter oils in place, so a rose or a citrus lasts far longer over it. Perfumers lean on that staying power the way they use other heavy woods. A little changes the whole character of an accord.
Agarwood like this is a genuine rarity, real oud from the true tree rather than a cheap copy. A label alone rarely tells you what is in the bottle, yet the oil changes with the wood behind it. We keep it among the oils for people who know oud well.
Oud has been burned as incense for many centuries, named in old texts and lit through long evenings of prayer and worship. That long history is part of what draws people to it now. We offer it as the scent, and nothing more than that.
The 10% oud in Meadowfoam pours out ready to dab on, a simple way into oud without measuring anything. Dabbed onto the pulse it gives the same deep wood, a touch softer. It is the easy everyday option next to the concentrated oil.
To wear the pure oud on skin, blend it into a carrier oil at about 1 to 3 percent for the body, which is roughly 6 drops in 15 ml. Do a patch test on the inner arm and wait a day before wider use, and never put this oil on neat. The 10% Meadowfoam oud is already skin-ready and can be dabbed on as it is.
In a water diffuser, one drop of oud is enough for a room, since the oil is strong and carries a long way. Run the diffuser for 30 to 60 minutes, then give the room a rest and some fresh air. Add a second drop only if the scent should be fuller.
Warm the bottle in your hand before you pour, since oud is thick and moves slowly at room temperature. Tip it a drop at a time, because a little goes a long way and the oil is costly to waste. Cap it tightly and keep it out of reach of children.

Method. Add the agarwood oud to the carrier in a 10 ml roller and cap it, then roll it between your palms to mix. Roll a little onto the wrists and throat and let it settle.
Method. Combine the rose and agarwood oud in the carrier oil in a 30 ml bottle and shake well. Smooth a little over the arms and shoulders, where the warmth of the body opens the wood and rose. Keep it capped and use it within a few months.
Method. Add the oud, myrrh and sandalwood to a water diffuser and run it for a short session as you settle in. The oud sits underneath, the myrrh deepens it and the sandalwood rounds it out. Give the room fresh air between sessions.
At 5.8% this batch is dominated by Eremophila-7(11),9-dien-8-one — an oxygenated sesquiterpene of the eremophilane family and one of the main constituents of true agarwood wood oil. Valerianol sits at 5.56%, 10-epi-gamma-Eudesmol sits at 4%. The oil is orange-amber color with medium-thick consistency, and it reads as a base note in a blend.
Every size is the same oil. The larger the bottle, the lower the price per ml.

Such a powerful fragrance that melds well will almost any other essential oil perfume/calone.
I purchased the 10% in Meadowfoam and I was very pleased with how potent the aroma was even at 10% concentration. Not overpowering at that concentration. It can be worn as a body oil for it's amazinf scent alone. I love the scent of Oud and this is the real deal. I use it as a beard oil additive and I find it to be very high quality. I will definitely order more.
Always the best products from these guys! And seriously the best customer service..!
