Hazelnut Oil, Virgin - Organic (Corylus Avellana)

Virgin Hazelnut Oil is obtained from the first cold pressing of the kernel of the hazelnut. Prized in cooking, virgin hazelnut oil also has unique therapeutic benefits that warrant its use in aromatherapy. Virgin hazelnut oil possesses a unique profile of essential fatty acids, most closely similar to virgin olive oil.

It makes for a wonderful massage oil, and it moisturizes and tones the skin, while promoting the regeneration of skin cells.

Moisturizing and Nourishing

Organic Hazelnut Oil makes a great carrier oil for any skincare application of essential oils. Thanks to its unique combination of essential fatty acids, it nourishes and moisturizes the skin while forming a light protective barrier. 

Cleans Pores

Organic Hazelnut Oil is a great choice for oil cleansing. It will help remove dried, hardened sebum, which can otherwise contribute to acne and skin inflammation. 

Stimulating and Toning

Hazelnut oil penetrates the skin well and is commonly used to stimulate blood flow in capillaries. As a result, it helps promote tighter, healthier, more youthful-looking skin.

Invigorating Massage Oil 

• 1 oz. Organic Virgin Hazelnut Oil 
• 4 drops Yarrow Essential Oil 
• 8 drops Lavender Essential oil 
• 4 drops Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil 

Blend the oils together and use as an energizing massage oil. 

Skin Moisturizer: 

• 1 oz. Organic Virgin Hazelnut Oil 
• 4 drops Lavender Essential Oil 
• 8 drops Carrot Seed Essential Oil 
• 4 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil 

Mix the essential oils with the virgin hazelnut oil, and apply to clean, dry skin. 

For Dry, Irritated Skin: 

• 1 oz. Organic Hazelnut Oil 
• 4 drops Lavender Essential Oil 
• 4 drops Carrot Seed Essential Oil 
• 4 drops Carrot Root Essential Oil 
• 4 drops German Chamomile 

Mix the oils, and apply to any irritated and dry areas until your skin recovers.
