I make a shea butter-based skin moisturizer for friends and family (and myself) that works incredibly well to heal the dry skin we get out here in the high desert. Blue tansy eo is the additive that makes it work wonders. It smells nice too, but I would still use it even if it didn't, because it's incredibly soothing and promotes healing, not just of dry skin but even burns and abrasions. I can't recommend blue tansy highly enough and I wouldn't even consider buying it from anyone but Miracle Botanicals. One minor word warning when using it: it's a very deep, rich, beautiful blue. Don't spill it on your white linens unless you want them to also be a deep, rich blue color.
Blue tansy eo is the key ingredient in a balm I make with using shea butter anw several other essential and carrier oils that are beneficial to the skin. The balm is moisturizing, obviously, but also extremely effective at helping cuts and abrasions to heal. In fact, it's so effective at promoting healing that one person to who used it called the healing effect "uncanny," and the term stuck. Now friends and family ask me for some of the "uncanny blue stuff" when they have burns and scrapes they want to help heal, and especially when they're concerned about scarring. Miracle Botanicals' blue tansy is the only blue tansy I will use--I tried another brand once, and I won't make that mistake again. I don't what it was, but it wasn't blue tansy eo. One word of caution: this stuff is a rich blue color and very opaque, like ink. It's beautiful, obviously potent, and the color washes off skin easily enough, but you probably wouldn't want to use it on a white tablecloth.
This oil works amazingly well at reducing the bags under my eyes!
Recently I ordered blue tansy, kashmir clary sage, and cape chamomile. I'm very please with my order and will definitely continue to purchase from miracle botanicals. The oils had the qualities that I look for and expect when purchasing therapeutic grade oils.
This stuff is weirdly wonderful. I put a few drops in a nebulizer with German Chamomile and sit back and feel what comes. It usually brings on a slight goofy smile and a sense of ease and mellow joy. It's a good one. I know it has great benefits for the body, but I have been using it for the mental and emotional ease it brings up for me. I think everyone should try this, at least once. I will never run out of this one!
