Sinks in fast, no greasy film
Rose Glimmer Body Oil sits light on the skin because its base is quick-absorbing plant oils led by apricot kernel and argan. Smooth a little across the skin and it sinks in as a soft, moisturizing layer rather than a greasy film. Castor adds a touch of slip and sheen that helps the oil glide.
A rose-forward botanical scent
A rose-forward floral runs through Rose Glimmer Body Oil, drawn from its essential oils. Bulgarian rose otto leads the rose with geranium alongside, Bulgarian lavender adds a sweet floral, ho wood keeps it soft, and bergamot brightens it with a fresh citrus lift. It reads as flowers, warm and a little sweet as it wears.
Shimmer that catches the light
The shimmer in Rose Glimmer Body Oil comes from natural mica, cosmetic-grade silica and a fine mineral glitter that catch and throw back the light. On the skin they leave a soft glow instead of a heavy, chunky sparkle. The pigment is buildable, so a thin layer reads as a subtle sheen and a second pass lifts it.

This formula is built on plant oils and essential oils, with no synthetic fragrance, no water and no silicone. Every ingredient is one you can name, from the plant carriers to the rose otto and bergamot that scent it. You can read the whole label, unlike a drugstore body shimmer built on esters and parfum.
Oils from our single-oil range
Every essential oil in this blend is also sold on its own in our range, from Bulgarian rose otto to wildcrafted bergamot. That is unusual for a shimmer body oil, where the scent is normally a lab fragrance rather than named oils you could buy singly. Here the blend is built from the same bottles a perfumer or aromatherapist would keep on the bench.
How to use
Shake or roll first
Before useShake or roll the bottle before each use, because the mica, silica and glitter are heavier than the oils and settle to the bottom. A few turns brings the shimmer back through the oil so it spreads evenly. Give it a moment to mix before you pour any out.
Smooth over the body
On the skinWarm a small amount between your palms and smooth it over arms, legs, shoulders and decolletage, blending until it absorbs. A little goes a long way, so start with a few drops and add more only if you want a stronger glow. This is the body oil, so keep it below the neck.
Let it absorb before dressing
After applyingLet the oil soak in for a few minutes before you dress, since the pigment can transfer onto light-colored fabric. A quick blot with a tissue lifts any excess shimmer before it sets. Keep the bottle capped and out of direct sunlight between uses.
Sun safety and a patch test
Skin safetyThe bergamot here is cold-pressed, which makes it phototoxic, so keep freshly oiled skin out of direct sun and off sunbeds for at least 12 hours, or apply where clothing covers it. Waiting until the next day is safer still. Do a patch test on the inner arm first if your skin is reactive or sensitive. This body oil is for external use only, so keep it away from the eyes and out of reach of children and pets.
