Like peppermint, spearmint, or Mentha spicata, is a member of the mint family. It is a shrub originally native to much of Europe and Asia, though it is now cultivated worldwide.

Spearmint essential oil has many of the same benefits and uses as peppermint oil. However, unlike peppermint oil, spearmint oil contains smaller quantities of menthol, which makes its aroma less intense and which reduces the likelihood that it might irritate the skin. 1 drop Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil
