Description
Introducing our French High Altitude (Fine) Lavender - an exquisite essential oil derived from the highest reaches of the French Alps. Known for its superior quality, this lavender oil is harvested from plants grown in the unique climate and high altitude of the region, which contributes to a higher ester content and a more complex aroma.
The aroma of our French High Altitude (Fine) Lavender is floral, crisp, sweet, and herbaceous with subtle balsamic undertones. It's not just the scent that sets it apart, but also its wide range of therapeutic properties. This oil is renowned for its calming and relaxing qualities, making it a perfect choice for stress relief and promoting restful sleep.
Lavender’s aroma is one known to many. The Romans explored the therapeutic benefits of lavender’s dried flowers by using in their bath water.
In folk tradition, lavender made its name as a stomach soother, and was used as a fragrance to scent bed linen. The aromatic French lavender essential oil is sourced from France, and extracted through steam distillation of the flowering tops, often in July and August.
The sweet-herbaceous oil has a potent impact on psychological health and is useful for dealing with nervous tension and overwhelm. Use French lavender oil through inhalation or in a full body massage to stabilize the mood, ward off negative emotions, quiet fears and phobias, and soothe pain.
In skincare, French High Altitude (Fine) Lavender can be used to soothe irritated skin, promote healing, and provide deep nourishment. Its potent antioxidant properties can help protect your skin from environmental stressors.
Whether used in aromatherapy, skincare, or wellness practices, our French High Altitude (Fine) Lavender offers a premium experience. Elevate your senses with this epitome of luxury and purity in the world of essential oils.
Benefits
Soothes lumbago and Other Muscular Aches and Pain
French lavender essential oil takes the edge off muscular and joint aches. If you’re tired of feeling sore and decrepit from lower back pain, wind down to a soothing massage using this volatile oil.
As French lavender has various properties, including analgesic, spasmolytic, and anti-inflammatory, a soothing massage to localized areas may relieve pain.
If rheumatic discomfort, sprains, and other muscular issues are commonplace in your life, French lavender essential oil is perfect for loosening things up a bit. Make no mistake, this floral volatile oil packs quite a punch when added to our Pain Relief Formula. Simply add a few drops and enjoy a relaxing, pain-busting massage.
Supports Women’s Health
Clinical studies show that women with painful and heavy menstrual cycles can benefit from the therapeutic properties of French lavender essential oil. Before your next period hits, start using the aromatic oil to reduce pain caused by dysmenorrhea, and excessive bleeding.
Soothes Abdominal Cramps and Indigestion
Abdominal cramps and discomfort as a result of colic, indigestion, flatulence, and other digestive disorders can be cosseted using French lavender oil.
Promotes Skin Tissue Healing
French lavender’s skin regenerative property not only prevents infection on surface wounds but promotes tissue healing. It’s perfect for sensitive skin, and if you’re tired of watching past wounds heal at the pace of a sloth, French lavender oil is a worthy topical agent to use.
Fungal, Bacterial, and Viral Infections of the Skin
Your skin is a strong barrier but by no means impenetrable. If contagious skin infections like athlete’s foot, candidiasis, canker sores, cold sores, and others can’t seem to give you a break, you need French lavender oil in your corner. The oil’s strong antimicrobial property helps you deal with irritable rashes, itching, and discomfort associated with skin infections.
Repels Insects and Soothes the Skin
You’re not the only one who’s excited about spring and summer. Insects and bugs are, too! If you’ve had enough of them ruining your great outdoor (and indoor) experience, it’s time to take the fight to them. Fine French lavender essential oil does a wonderful job at handling parasitic pests such as lice and scabies.
And, if you’re ever bitten or stung, French lavender has anti-inflammatory, antiallergy, and antipruritic properties. These attributes will keep pain, swelling, and itching to a minimal. French lavender oil may also be useful against symptoms associated with certain skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
Relaxes Spasmolytic Respiratory Conditions
Chronic coughing, hoarseness, excessive mucus build-up in the nasal passage, throat infection, and other respiratory conditions, can be soothed using French lavender oil.
Promotes Emotional and Mental Wellness
French lavender acts as a sedative to the cerebral and nervous system. Its relaxing properties dispel irrational, irritable behaviors and attitudes. Do you find it difficult to initiate and remain asleep at nights? Using French lavender before the lights go out may prove to be a tremendous sleep aid.
If anxiety, stress, and depression are slowly putting out the light in your eyes, using the oil on a regular basis can provide comfort and relief. The oil elevates your thoughts and emotions by leaving you cool, calm, and collected. As French lavender oil acts a lot like a nervous restorative and cardiovascular relaxant, it may be useful in lowering high blood pressure and heart palpitations.
Spiritual Awareness
Fine French lavender removes insecurities surrounding communication. If you’ve been holding back, preventing your true voice from being heard, French lavender teaches you how to let it out. You tap into your internal force to confront hindrances that have been restricting self-expression and honesty.
Cower no more beneath the voices and strong criticisms of others, but let your inner person greet the world with grace and acceptance. Be vocal about your emotions, but in the most honest and courageous way. As you’re led by the ‘oil of communication’, French lavender pulls off the muzzle you’ve worn for years, to ensure your voice thunders above the clouds. Be transparent with the people around you, but especially true to you.

Recipes
Soft and Gentle Menstruation Blend
2 drops of Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil
2 drops of Clove Bud Essential Oil
4 drops of Rose Essential Oil
10 drops of French lavender essential oil3
30 ml Meadowfoam Seed Oil
Combine the oils together. Use this blend to massage the abdominal region about 7 days before menstruation begins. This blend is suitable for menstrual cramps and heavy bleeding.
Emotional Balancing Blend
5 drops of French lavender essential oil
6 drops of Geranium Essential Oil
4 drops of Tangerine Essential Oil
5 ml of Raspberry Seed Oil
Combine your oils together. Use to massage the back, chest, and neck. This blend dispels irritation, moodiness, and agitation.
Head Lice Remover Blend
24 drops of French lavender essential oil
10 ml of Tea Tree Essential Oil
120 ml (4 oz) of neem oil
Combine your ingredients together. You’ll need to coat the entire hair with this blend. As it will be difficult to scoop up the oils with your hand, a nifty suggestion is to use a bottle with a nozzle.
A bottle with a nozzle will allow you to apply the blend directly to the roots of the hair. Ensure to apply the blend to the entire head of hair but start with the scalp/roots.
After coating the hair, cover with a shower (or steam) cap. Allow the oil to sit on the hair for about 2 to 4 hours (preferably 4). Afterwards, wash with shampoo, then use a comb to rake through the hair.
