Balsam Fir:
Balsam Fir is a wide-ranging North American fir and a popular Christmas tree. As a result, Balsam Fir Essential Oil carries a wonderful, familiar aroma redolent of home and holidays. Balsam Fir Essential Oil also has many medicinal properties and is becoming increasingly used in aromatherapy. Its powerful anti-inflammatory effects are well-known, and it is also known to help support the immune and respiratory systems thanks to its antimicrobial activity. This oil is both disinfecting and antiseptic, and its high limonene content is believed to activate white blood cells.

Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil comes from the Ceylon or true cinnamon tree, which was originally native only to Sri Lanka. Unlike the more common cassia cinnamon, true cinnamon has several important healing properties, and it also carries a much richer aroma. Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is commonly used in aromatherapy for its detoxifying effects, for pain relief, and as an emotional and physical stimulant. In addition, Cinnamon Bark essential oil is extremely powerful when used in blends, as it enhances the healing benefits of other oils. Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is a hot oil (it feels hot when used on the skin neat, and must be blended with carrier oil when used topically). Because of this, Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is used in aromatherapy to help relieve symptoms of rheumatism, arthritis, and sore muscles.

Centuries ago, Orange Essential Oil's benefits were discovered and utilized by the Chinese. Orange has been and still is a vital part of Chinese medicine, used to relieve spasms, stimulate digestion, and bring good luck.
