Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil - Organic (Rosmarinus Officinalis ct Cineole)

Our organic Rosemary Cineole is steam distilled from the herb of Rosmarinus officinalis, cineole type, and the country of origin is Tunisia. The ct cineole in its name tells you which kind of rosemary it is: in this oil, 1,8-cineole is the main compound.

The aroma is fresh, herbaceous and sweet. It is a middle note, so in a blend it sits between the top notes and the base notes. You can use it on its own or mix it with other oils.

To use it on the skin, always dilute it first. We suggest 6 to 12 drops per ounce of carrier oil, which is a 1 to 2% dilution, and a patch test if your skin is sensitive. In a nebulizing diffuser, 8 to 20 drops is typical, following the maker's instructions. For a bath, mix 4 to 5 drops into a handful of bath salt before adding it to the water.

This batch is led by 1,8-cineole at 44.98%, followed by alpha-pinene at 11.33% and camphor at 11.06%. You can see these figures in the chemistry tab. The oil comes in 5ml, 10ml, 30ml and 60ml bottles, so you can start small or choose a larger bottle at a lower price per ml.
