the wormwood plant of South Africa. Historically this plant has been

Owyhee
Essential Oil is a rare and exotic oil that's sourced from a plant
native to the Western U.S. Its name comes from the Owyhee region in
Idaho where the plant is widespread, and this region in turn gets its
name from an old, alternate spelling for Hawaii. The Owyhee plant has a
long tradition of herbal healing among local populations, including
being used for pain relief and digestive problems. In aromatherapy, this
essential oil is useful for its wonderful aroma, for its gentle effects
on the skin, as well as for its pain relief and anti-inflammatory
action.
