How to use
Diffuser
In the airStart with 3 to 5 drops in a water diffuser for a medium room, then add a drop at a time until it smells right to you. Pink grapefruit is bright and carries well, so a little is plenty. Diffuse for 30 to 60 minutes, then give the room a break for the same time, with fresh air moving.
On the skin
TopicalPink grapefruit is phototoxic, so keep treated skin out of the sun for 12 hours after you apply it. For the skin, blend 2 drops into 30 ml of a carrier oil such as jojoba, well under the level where grapefruit oil can react in sunlight. Patch test a small spot on the inner forearm and wait a day before wider use. We do not use this oil neat.
Around the home
On surfacesFor a citrus surface spray, shake about 10 drops into 2 cups of water and use it to wipe down counters and other hard surfaces. Keep this one to surfaces, not skin, since it isn't carried in an oil. Shake it again before each use, because the oil and water separate.

Method. Add the drops to a water diffuser and run it for 30 to 60 minutes. The bergamot deepens the citrus while the lavender rounds it off, so the pink grapefruit stays the brightest part.
