How to use
Diffuser
In the airStart with 3 to 4 drops in a water diffuser for a medium room, then add a drop at a time until it smells right to you. Frankincense serrata carries well, so a little goes a long way. Run it for 30 to 60 minutes, then rest the room for as long with some fresh air moving.
On the skin
TopicalDilute frankincense serrata to 1 to 2 percent before it goes on skin, which is 6 to 12 drops in 30 ml of a carrier oil. Keep the face lighter, 3 to 6 drops in 30 ml. Patch test a small spot on the inner forearm and wait a day before wider use, and take extra care with reactive or sensitive skin. We do not use this oil neat, and it stays out of reach of children.
Direct inhalation
InhalationFor a quick lift, put a drop or two on a tissue and breathe it in, or add it to a bowl of steaming water and cup your hands over the rim. Keep your eyes closed over the steam, since the vapor is strong. This is the fastest way to meet the resin, straight and warm.
