Description
Guaiacwood and Copaiba are both base note essential oils that nicely compliment one another when blended together. Guaiacwood Essential Oil is a thick viscous wax-like substance when by itself. As a result, this essential oil blend may appear to be thick and gel-like in the container at most temperatures. However, when Guaiacwood is blended with other essential oils, it retains a fluid consistency.
Guaiacwood Essential Oil is anti-inflammatory, having a tightening effect on the skin and imparting a lustrous glow to the face. The anti-inflammatory property of the oil also makes it useful with joint pains. Copaiba Essential Oil is one of the world's most powerful anti-inflammatory substances. Copaiba Essential Oil is unique in its composition and properties and contains many micro-nutrients. Copaiba may be used for pain relief, internally and externally.
Copaiba contains about 55-60% B-Caryophyllene, a sesquiterpene found in many essential oils, however mostly with a much smaller percentage. Sesquiterpenes recode faulty information in cellular memory that can cause disease. Sesquiterpenes also cross the blood brain barrier. When substances are able to cross the blood brain barrier, they become beneficial to the brain as well as the rest of the body.
Emotionally, Guaiacwood Essential Oil is relaxing and calming. The oil eases stress and induces a meditative state. Historically, Guaiacwood was used during meditation and spiritual practices and works wonderfully for balancing and grounding purposes.
This is a very thick blend and may need to be warmed by rubbing the hands together over the bottle or letting sit in a warm cup of water before application.
