Description
This Sandalwood Blend comes to us from one of our essential oil suppliers. It's one of the few blends that we don't make in-house. We were just so amazed by the beautiful aroma of this sandalwood blend that we decided to carry it as it is.
It's a blend that's loved by many of our customers both for its aroma and for the effects that they experience. This blend does not have a significant santalol content, because the higher santalol sandalwoods (Hawaiian and Australian) are either not present (Hawaiian) or diluted (Australian) with other non-santalum "sandalwoods .
In this blend, the true santalums are Australian Sandalwood and East Indian Sandalwood. False sandalwoods are also effective in their own right, and they are sometimes used as a substitute for santalum sandalwoods with beneficial effects. The non-santalum sandalwoods in this blend are West Indian, Indonesian, and African Sandalwoods.
If you are looking for a well rounded sandalwood aroma and you are not specifically looking for high santalol concentration, this blend will likely be perfect for you. It is highly therapeutic and useful in aromatherapy for the array of benefits that sandalwoods of all varieties are known for.

Note that sandalwood is one essential oil that is often applied without any carrier oil. It's a more fatty (non-astringent) oil, which is more suitable for direct application.
This sandalwood blend also does well in dilution and blended with other oils. It's considered a fixative and will help stabilize the aroma and integrity of other essential oils.
