Yarrow essential oil comes from the yarrow, a perennial flowering plant spread throughout Asia, Europe, and North America. The oil has been traditionally used to stop the flow of blood from wounds, and it is also used for teas, as an an herb, and even a vegetable for cooking.
Yarrow essential oil is known for its sweet aroma and vibrant blue color. The blue color is due to the chemical compound chamazulene, which is an antioxidant-type inhibitor and exerts anti-inflammatory activity.

Essential Oil for Babies and Children
Skin toner:
1 oz. Argan oil
4 drops Rose Otto Essential Oil
4 drops Yarrow Essential Oil
Apply to clean, damp skin
Massage oil against muscle and joint pain:
1 oz. Pomegranate Seed Oil
4 drops Lavender Essential Oil
4 drops Yarrow Essential Oil
2 drops Melissa Essential Oil
Massage over pained muscles and joints
Stronger hair:
1 oz. Argan oil
6 drops Yarrow Essential Oil
Mix the Argan Oil and the Yarrow Essential Oil, and then apply the blend to your scalp and to the roots of your hair. Allow it to sit for a half hour and then wash it out with your usual shampoo.
