Butter CO2 is real butter caught as a scent, not a synthetic note built in a lab. The extraction takes the smell straight from the butterfat, so it reads round and honest where a synthetic version reads thin and sharp. For a perfumer after the genuine thing, that difference is the whole point.

This oil works as an anchor, the deep part of a blend that holds lighter notes in place and pulls the whole thing together. In the diffuser, a trace of butter CO2 is plenty, because the scent is strong and a little reads across a whole room. Start lower than you would with any other oil, and add a touch more only if the room can take it. It fills the air with warm butter without turning heavy.
How to use
Diffuser
In the airStart with just 1 to 2 drops in a water diffuser for a medium room, because butter CO2 is strong and carries fast. Run the diffuser for 30 to 60 minutes, then rest the room for the same time with fresh air moving. Add a single drop more only once you know how far it reaches.
In a blend
BlendingAdd butter CO2 a drop at a time into a warm gourmand or a soft floral accord, checking the balance until it deepens without standing out. When it goes into a carrier oil for a wearable scent, keep the whole blend to 1 to 3 percent, lower on the face, and patch test first. We never use this oil neat on skin.

SafetyBecause it is made from butter, anyone allergic to it should avoid this oil or use it with care. It is not for internal use of any kind. Store it somewhere cool and dark, away from heat and light, and keep it out of reach of children.

Method. Add the drops to a water diffuser and let it run until the room fills, then give it a rest. The vanilla and coffee carry the sweetness while the bergamot lifts the top, so the butter sits underneath as the deep, round note. Start on the low side and open a window if the room fills fast.
Method. Combine the drops in the jojoba in a small roller bottle and shake it well. Roll a little onto the wrist, where the neroli and the ylang ylang bloom on top and the butter holds them close as they warm. Cap it, store it away from sunlight, and use it within a few months.
